All of us except Chris, who missed the mark by one, managed to beat Andy's low bar in the first round. It looks like Dan has got the pool, but the second round could swing in Ranon or Brody's favour. Everyone else.. thanks for coming out. Spreadsheets, brackets and notes to the side.

After three years, I finally won one. With Crosby going down, I got a bit nervous but my guys managed to tread water for the last month as Dan made his assault. Unfortunately, no money to spread around this year. Hopefully next year we get a couple more members for the full regular season and we can resume normal operations. Here are the final results.

Well, it looked like I may have finally won a pool and then Kovy goes down, then my top scorer in Crosby, now it is much closer than it looks, it will likely come down to the final 2 weeks. I'm not going to lie, I didn't want a close pool...

Well... almost half way as crazy as that seems, damn lockout. With our trade deadline come and gone it is still a close race with Gord fending Dan off, could be neck and neck to the finish now. Injuries and terribly slow starts have damaged a couple members hopes but that's the beauty of pools and sports in general, there is always next year for redemption.

Well It's finally here. Ranon will be updating us with standings more regularly, but every once and a while I will post some updates for the record books. Despite being a Canuck fan, and despite having all my players knocked out by round two, I found this to be a very interesting playoff year. Congratulations to the Kings, and I think that Carter and Richards should be very satisfied with getting the last laugh on Philly's management. This may be the closest playoff pool yet, as the winner will likely come from behind to win in the last round. Usually we have a clear winner by now. That said, the winner will also likely fall short of the worst playoff total in past pools which is 73 setting an all time low bar for which we should all feel a little shame.
